This New York Bat Mitzvah at Pier 60 Chelsea Piers featured a pink candy theme throughout the entire party. To create the pink candy themed Bat Mitzvah decor, the entire venue was flooded with shades of pink! Everything from pink lighting, pink draping, to pink candy.

Bat Mitzvah Party Entrance
When guests entered the venue to attend the New York City Bat Mitzvah, they walked down a long corridor which was transformed to look like a pink candy forest. Giant pink lollipop trees and oversized cones of cotton candy were used to create this look and experience.
At the end of the candy forest corridor, Bat Mitzvah guests were able to stop at an old-fashioned candy cart which featured a pink and white striped awning. This candy cart was creatively used to display the escort cards, which were placed in a bed of pink jelly beans.

Guests then walked the pink carpet where they were able to take a photo in front of the step of repeat designed with the Bat Mitzvah girl’s logo surrounded by pink candies.
Bat Mitzvah Cocktail Hour
Since the New York City venue, Pier 60, is located on the water, the cocktail hour room and terrace delighted guests with incredible views of the Manhattan skyline. The Bat Mitzvah cocktail hour featured food and cocktails while the kids had the opportunity to explore the selfie booth, lip balm station, and, in keeping with the pink candy theme, a 16 person LED foosball table in pink.

Bat Mitzvah Party
Following the New York City Bat Mitzvah party cocktail hour, guests walked into a pink candy themed wonderland with a backdrop of the water and city skyline, thanks to the New York City venue’s floor to ceiling windows.
The dance floor looked like a pool of candy as the background was designed in shades of pink jelly beans accented with the Bat Mitzvah girl’s logo in the center and a lollipop border.

The pink candy theme extended to the ceiling with a mix of pink ribbons, icicle lights and assorted replicas of pink candies.

The adult tables were dressed with beautiful pink textured linens featuring some sparkle and giant bouquet of pink lollipops. At each place setting there was a menu in the shape of a hard candy.
The kids in attendance at the Bat Mitzvah party sat at a long table with a sheer pink linen with sparkly dots and a table runner of pink jelly beans. Positioned at each place setting was a personalized pink gumball machine.
Live musicians accompanied the DJ to really make the Jewish music at this pink candy themed Bat Mitzvah come alive. There was a violinist, vocalist, and a keyboard player. The violinist often played on the dance floor which the crowd loved!

On exit, the guests were able to visit the pink candy bar!
How AllSeated Assisted With Planning
The Bat Mitzvah service was in the Aquitainia West event space.
This candy themed Bat Mitzvah utilized several different event spaces within the venue. AllSeated allowed us to easily determine which spaces would work and how to set up the layouts.
The Bat Mitzvah service was in the Aquitainia West event space. AllSeated allowed us to plan the rows of seats in the layout and even indicate which seats were reserved.
The cocktail hour for the kids was held in the Olympic Room. AllSeated gave opportunity to design the layout for placement of the step and repeat, food stations, and games.
The adult cocktail hour was held on the terrace. Using AllSeated, we were able to determine the best layout for placing the food stations, bar, and seating in such a way that guests could easily view the New York City skyline.
AllSeated really assisted us with the reception layout. Up until the week before the Bat Mitzvah, the reception was going to be held in the Oceanic Room. However, the week prior to the party, my client received several last minute RSVP’s. Using AllSeated allowed me to determine by looking at our floorplan that the room would now be too crowded with the additional guests added to the seating chart. Based upon this new knowledge, we were able to add on the Majestic Room within the event space to create a larger layout.
