In today’s wedding spotlight, we are featuring a gorgeous summer wedding shared by Melisa Imberman of The Event Of A Lifetime.

Wedding Details:

This beautiful, summer wedding was a weekend-long event that started with a large rehearsal dinner at a historic castle, Castle on the Hudson. The vibe was rustic yet chic and casually elegant.

There were playful touches such as the escort card display and the wedding couple’s initials were carved into the bark holding the floral centerpieces.

The ceremony was planned to be outside in the beautiful garden of the Tappan Hill Mansion overlooking the Hudson River, but unfortunately, the weather didn’t corporate so we brought the ceremony inside. This is why we always have a Plan B for outdoor weddings and events!

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the rose petal cannon. After the bride and groom said their I Dos, the groom broke the glass, the couple kissed, and proceeded to head down the aisle. Rose petals were shot out of cannons to shower the newlyweds with good wishes. It was a big surprise and everyone was wowed.

The wedding day feel was more formal and romantic, with rustic touches like the escort card tree & the naked cake. The flowers were abundant and romantic. The ceiling was draped and covered with twinkle lights to add to the romantic feel. The evening ended with more personal touches and surprises.

The bride and groom exited through a tunnel of sparkling light. After the sparkler send-off, each guest got the couples favorite treat a Smores to go kit (the marshmallow were custom printed with a clever saying & their names & date). If that wasn’t enough, as guests waited for the valet to bring them their car, they were able to visit a food truck for made to order custom mini donuts.

How AllSeated assisted in the planning process:

AllSeated was a lifesaver! The guest count was projected to be at room capacity so I needed to figure out how to get all of the tables in the room plus two bars, and a photo booth. AllSeated enabled me to play around with the layout of the tables as well as the size of the bars and dance floor in order to design the exact floorplan we desired.
